I wanted you to hear this first.

I'm opening fourteen places for a ten-night rewilding retreat in Greater Kruger, South Africa, from August 28 to September 7, 2027. The first six people to reserve receive the early price.

I want to take you to South Africa.

I want us to spend our mornings watching animals, then come back and explore movement in our own bodies. To go out again as the light changes, and have another whole morning waiting for us when we wake.

I'm from South Africa, and bringing people here to experience its beauty is something I have wanted to do for years. Now I get to bring together two things I care deeply about: time in the wild, and the practice of becoming more alive in our bodies.

We'll have a lodge to ourselves on a private reserve in Greater Kruger.

There is so much to receive simply by being there. The size of an elephant when you are close enough to appreciate it. The attention in an animal's ears. The way everyone becomes quiet when something appears between the trees.

We are animals too. I think about this often in my work with movement, how much of our own nature we have become unfamiliar with. Our capacity to sense, to respond, to move with pleasure, to rest when we are tired.

I want to make room for us to explore that.

Each day we'll head into the bush with guides at dawn and again toward evening. We'll practise movement together, have time to rest, and let what we encounter find its way into the work.

You don't need movement experience. There is plenty to begin with in the simple act of paying attention to yourself.

What excites me is having enough time for this to become how we live for a little while. Waking early. Watching closely. Moving every day. Being in the company of people who have also chosen to come all this way and see what happens.
